In contrast to other home healthcare service providers in Michigan, Soteria relies on a proven three-step caregiver matchmaking process. This ensures you will have the long-term, stable systems of support you need.
We’ll meet with you to listen to your unique challenges and understand what matters most to you, your loved one, and your household. We’ll have a conversation about your care requirements and your household’s expectations for support.
Finding the right fit is the key to stable long-term in-home care. We’ll share what we learned from our meeting with our experienced Care Delivery Team who will thoughtfully assemble your personalized in-home Caregiver Team.
Together, we’ll develop a plan of care that meets your unique challenges. We’ll take time to explain our suggestions and answer any questions you have. When you’re ready, care will begin at a pace that is comfortable for you, and is best suited for your loved one’s, and your household’s specific needs.
We know that this can be a daunting time. We’re available to talk now, so you can make an informed decision about your next steps. Soteria has helped countless Michigan families discover what level of in-home support is right for aging in place with dignity, independence, and safety. We’d like to help you, too.
We provide care that revolves around you. These services are tailored to each client’s individual needs. Your personal Care Delivery Team will oversee and coordinate your care, and ensure the best possible caregiver match for your household. Your team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide service wherever it is needed.
No, because of Soteria’s extensive experience providing elevated care to those who have been injured or have chosen to age in place, we work with all adults aged 18 and up.
At present, we are most prominent in Genesee County, Lapeer County, North Oakland County, and Kalamazoo County, however, Soteria is expanding rapidly throughout the state of Michigan and we welcome the opportunity to work with you.
The Soteria Care Delivery and Clinical Services Teams make an in-home assessment, and then collaborate with you to create a Plan of Care that is centered around the client’s Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Yes, we call this our “Caregiver Matchmaking Process.” The Soteria Care Delivery Team works hard to ensure that we match caregivers with clients and their households in order to foster continuity in physical, emotional, and social care.
Soteria provides caregivers with various training opportunities for continuing education. We actively seek relationships with local Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aide (HHA) schools to stay up to date on standards.
We leave nothing to chance, and make no assumptions. Prior to hiring a team member, Soteria performs in-person interviews, checks applicant references, performs third-party background checks, and interviews extensively for compatibility and relevant experience directly associated with the needs of our clients.
We believe in safety nets and fallback plans. Soteria puts in place several caregivers for each client. If a caregiver becomes ill, another caregiver familiar with the client will step in. Should there be no one available that is familiar with the client’s case, Soteria has experienced 24-hour on-call caregivers that can fill the gap.
“Private Duty Care” is in-home care that is delivered on a private-pay basis, which means clients (or their families) pay Soteria directly for these services. Because we tailor the Plan of Care on an individual basis, private duty home care services can be customized to meet the unique needs of each client. For questions concerning fees and other information, please call to speak with a Soteria Care Specialist.
